WavCouncil Official Announcement [#2] (12/10/2020)

Hello WavCouncil! Good to have you here today. As the days continue we're slowly getting this place off of the ground, posting content daily, inviting more and more members, interacting with the new people here. I again thank you all for being apart of the building blocks of this site, I hope that you are finding the content you need here. 

Here's some of the new things that have been added over the week;

We have a few new forums, I'll explain them below;

• Inspiration / Mood Boards
  
  Much like "spam" profiles on Instagram, this forum is useful for those of you who find inspiration from certain imagery. You can use this forum to post the various images/videos you are inspired by. Whether to keep track of them or just to share, this is a great source of inspiration
  

• Collab Zone
  
  A necessary forum for a site like this, something that should have been added since day one, but better late than never. This is self-explanatory, you go here if you're looking to collaborate with other artists. Post Collab Call threads, find others who are looking for collabs, this is a great place for networking.
  

• Future Updates
  
  This is basically my to-do list for the site. If I have any ideas or fixes I need to do, then I will post it here, and cross it off as I finish the tasks.
  

We have a few new features as well;

• Username tagging. 
  
  How to use;If you are attempting to tag a user in a thread/reply, all you must do is type the @ symbol, type the username of the profile you're trying to tag, and click the profile in the drop down menu to select it. This is what the tag should look like if done correctly; Serling
  
• Hiding Content
  
  How to use;
  This is an essential feature to protect your released content from being leeched off of. Basically it hides content from users viewing a thread until they reply to it. Here is how to create the tags. You type;
  
  
• Thank you/Like System
  
  How to use;
  Very simple, any post you enjoyed, or appreciate, you can drop a like on it with the thumbs up button in the bottom right corner of the post. These likes are counted on your profile.
  
  
• Credits System
  
  How to use;
  Basically the credits system is the on-site currency used to trade things between members. You can pretty much use it like money, but there is no incorporation of real USD. Members are not allowed to buy/sell credits for real money. I am planning on setting up shops for users to be able to sell their various music related products for credits, but that will take some time.
